When troubles come a callin’As those gremlins often do,
And my spirit keeps on fallin’
Till I feel low down and blue…
When I look around for comfort,
Someone quickly jumps to mind,
One who always will support me,
And whose words are always kind.
Who will make my mood feel lighter,
Who’ll help beat my troubles back,
HeShe makes the sun shine brighter
And gets my spirit back on track.
Who helps the road seem straighter,
And helps me get around each bend,
Who makes each day seem greater,
And that someone is you, my friend.
If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you,
And share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own,
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
Are impossible for me
I cannot build a mountain,
Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
A friend who's always there
Choose friends wisely, the portrait they paint
Is who you are and who you ain't.
Friendship is life's great support
When friends are of the right sort.
For all your dreams do they make room,
Or bring you down with doom and gloom
You will know a friendship is true
When it brings out the best in you.
Friends are who you need the most,
When times are not so right.
They come and go so frequently,
You hope you pick one right.
The right one listens with both ears,
And soothes your aching heart.
The right one never questions you,
When you seem to fall apart.
The friend for you is one who says,
Be calm and let me help
For there are some real bad days,
When life hits you below the belt.
All friends are not forever,
They are few and far between,
But the few true friends you do find,
Will never, ever leave.

Best friends are forever,
i see mine every day,
she always makes me laugh,
even when i'm having a bad day,
she even is protective
like a sister i would have to say,
i wish we could stay together for ever
i would hear her say,
she would always cheer me up,
when i was feeling blue,
we laughed cried and played,
until we turned blue,
if there was one more thing for me
to say, it would be that i love you too!!
In storms of emotion
rains of dreams
winds of wishes
I found a silver lining
longing for a blue sky
waiting for sun to shine
in the chilling feeling of helplessness
I found warmth of your smile
in the middle of nowhere
walking toward unknown
shadows of fear, darkness everywhere
in the horrors of twilight
only memories are my light
facing the realities of madness
breathing the air of insanity
in this crazy world I found hope
living among savages
burning in fires of hell
life gave me you and your friendship
Love is like the wild rose-briar,
Friendship like the holly-tree—
The holly is dark when the rose-briar blooms
But which will bloom most constantly
The wild-rose briar is sweet in the spring,
Its summer blossoms scent the air;
Yet wait till winter comes again
And who will call the wild-briar fair
Then scorn the silly rose-wreath now
And deck thee with the holly's sheen,
That when December blights thy brow
He may still leave thy garland green.
I love you as my closest, dearest friend.
Boys and girls can be just closest friends.
There is no passion greater than the one
That touches not the body but the heart.
You mean much more to me than someone who
I date and un-date, want and then don't want.
They're the waves, and you are like a shore
Where I can sit and watch them kiss the sand.
I'm sorry I can't be with you today,
When you should rule by virtue of your birth.
Please accept this tribute of mere words,
Poor substitute for all I am and have.
When you're not here to share my days and nights
My life is so incomplete

The 'oneness' I had known to seek
Without you I merely exist from day to day
