Mothers Day Poems

Dear Mum, I know not why,
But for some reason I get tongue-tied.
My feelings for you I just can’t express,
They’re too complicated, for words to address.

I love you, Mum – profoundly, as you’d probably know
But somehow, for some reason, it’s something I can’t show…

I really hope, Mum, that you understand,
Even though my words aren’t all that grand.
And then there are feelings – too numerous to count
Originating not from heart, but the mind being the fount.

Feelings of awe, at how you multi-task,
And provide me with everything, before I even ask.
Feelings of annoyance, when you constantly nag,
Backed by contentment – always being the tag.

Feelings of marvel, at your culinary skills,
Every dish a new adventure, giving my tongue a thrill.
Feelings inexplicable, ones I can’t explain,
But the important one, the vital one – ought to be made plain…

I love you, Mum – profoundly, as you’d probably know
But somehow, for some reason, it’s something I can’t show…

If you are planning to give your mother something really extraordinary for Mother’s Day, the best idea in my opinion would be to write her a special Mother’s Day poem. Mother’s Day poems are a wonderful way of saying things to your mother – things that you were never able to say to her face to face.

Mother’s Day poems will give you a chance to make your mother feel really special, and show her just how much you love her, even if you don’t say it that often. They will help you put into words all those unsaid things; stuff you ought to have said many times to her, but for some reason, just couldn’t get out of your mouth. Mother’s Day poems are the best means of saying thank you, and making your mother realize just exactly how much you cherish her, whether you are in close physical proximity, or living in a distant city. They will make her feel treasured, indispensable, and unforgettable, and show her that wherever you are, whatever you do, you care for her just as much as she does for you.

Mother’s Day poems can be borrowed from the internet; you will find, if nothing, a vast variety of them out there. There are Mother’s Day poems of every kind there – from thank you to “I’m sorry” ones. You can just choose the one you want and send it to her.

However, I would advise you to write a little Mother’s Day poem for her yourself, even if you are not very good at the art of writing, for it will remind her of the first time you had learned to write, and wrote the letters of the alphabet for her in great excitement, and make her feel proud of all that you have achieved until now, believe me. She will keep that small, sweet poem carefully in a safe place, and read it at least a few times every week, just to be reminded of her reaction when she received your Mother’s Day poem, and feel the same tumult of emotions hit her again.

Seriously, Mother’s Day poems can do no wrong when written from the very depths of one’s heart. So go ahead, and make your mother feel really happy by making this Mother’s Day a special one for her. Write her a nice, sweet little Mother’s Day poem.
